President Donald Trump just dropped a hammer on Canada and Mexico, announcing a 25% tariff on all imports from both countries. Why? Because they’ve utterly FAILED to stop the invasion of illegal aliens pouring into the United States. Because they’ve allowed deadly Chinese-made fentanyl to flood across our borders, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans. And because for years, America has been propping up their economies while they take advantage of us in trade.
At a press conference Thursday, Trump made it clear:
“I’ll be announcing the tariffs on Canada and Mexico for a number of reasons. Number one is the people that have poured into our country so horribly and so much. Number two are the drugs, fentanyl and everything else, that have come into the country. And, number three are the massive subsidies that we’re giving to Canada and to Mexico in the form of deficits.”
Translation?
Trump’s America-first tariffs will slam Canada and Mexico where it hurts the most: their wallets. And make no mistake, they deserve it.
Mexico has completely surrendered to the cartels. Their government is either too corrupt or too weak to stop the narco-state takeover. Fentanyl, manufactured in China and smuggled by Mexican cartels, is KILLING American citizens at an alarming rate. More than 110,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in 2023 alone—most from fentanyl.
And instead of stopping the poison at the source, Mexico shrugs its shoulders and watches billions in dirty cartel cash flow through its banks. Well, Trump just sent a message: if you won’t stop it, we’ll make you pay.
Canada pretends to be America’s friendly neighbor, but under Justin Trudeau’s weak, globalist leadership, they’ve turned into a superhighway for illegal aliens. Thousands of illegals are now using Canada as a launching pad to sneak into the U.S. Why? Because Trudeau refuses to enforce his own immigration laws and is more focused on pushing woke nonsense than securing his borders.
Of course, the bought-and-paid-for economists are already crying about “higher prices” and “trade instability.” That’s the same fear-mongering garbage they used to push NAFTA and every other globalist disaster that shipped American jobs overseas.
They don’t care about your paycheck. They don’t care about your town being flooded with illegals. They care about keeping their cushy consulting gigs and keeping the Wall Street billionaires happy.

💥 Stop the invasion, or watch your exports crash.
💥 End the fentanyl crisis, or suffer the consequences.
For far too long, America has been the world’s doormat—letting globalists, corrupt politicians, and corporate elites sell us out. But Trump is drawing a line in the sand.
This isn’t about "trade policy." This is about national survival.
