The Trump Administration’s aggressive audits and budget cuts have exposed an uncomfortable truth: America has been the primary financier of globalist institutions that do little—if anything—to benefit American citizens. For years, US taxpayers have unknowingly propped up foreign governments, NGOs, and global bureaucracies like the United Nations, pouring billions into an international system that often undermines American sovereignty.
Now, with the funding cuts taking effect, the beggars are emerging from the shadows. UN Secretary-General António Guterres is leading the charge, pleading for a reversal of US funding reductions, warning that the organization is facing a severe “liquidity crisis.”
The numbers speak for themselves. The United States has historically provided around $18 billion annually to the United Nations—roughly 20% of the organization’s total budget. That’s just the direct contributions. The real number is likely much higher when considering how much money is funneled through foreign governments before making its way to the UN’s accounts.
But now that the US is cutting off the flow, the panic has set in. Guterres recently told reporters:
“These cuts impact a wide range of critical programs. The consequences will be especially devastating for vulnerable people around the world…”
The UN Field Staff Union echoed the alarm, claiming that financial shortfalls are now threatening the institution’s ability to function. But what they aren’t saying is how exactly this money has been used—or more importantly, misused.
The United Nations loves to paint itself as a humanitarian organization, but the reality is far darker. While some funding goes to food aid and medical support, a significant chunk bankrolls policies and initiatives that directly harm US national interests. Here are just a few examples:
In short, the UN uses American money to advance anti-American policies—policies that we, the taxpayers, have no say in funding.
The backlash to these cuts has been telling. As Guterres admits, it’s not just the US that is pulling back—other governments are also slashing their UN contributions. And why? Because many of these nations were simply redistributing US money to the UN in the first place. America sends billions to foreign countries, and those same countries then turn around and donate to the UN. It’s a shell game designed to keep the illusion alive that the UN has broad international support when, in reality, it’s the American taxpayer footing the bill.
But here’s the reality: America is under no obligation to fund globalism.
For decades, Washington’s ruling elite have treated US wealth as an unlimited resource for financing international projects that do nothing to benefit the average American. But now that the tide is turning and the cash spigot is shutting off, we’re seeing just how fragile this globalist system really is.
It’s time for a fundamental shift in how US funds are allocated. If the government truly wants to support humanitarian causes, it can do so directly, without using bloated middlemen like the UN. Cutting off funding to globalist bureaucracies isn’t an act of cruelty—it’s a necessary step to reclaim American financial independence and put that money to work where it actually matters.
But don’t expect the UN—or the politicians who profit from these arrangements—to go quietly. The pressure campaign to restore US funding will only intensify in the coming months. They will push every emotional narrative imaginable to guilt Americans into opening their wallets once again.
Don’t fall for it.
The financial system as we know it is on shaky ground. The US government is drowning in over $34 trillion in debt, banks are failing, and inflation is eroding the middle class. If there was ever a time to demand that America stop funding globalist institutions and start focusing on protecting its own financial future, that time is now.
The question is, will Americans take control of their own economic destiny—or will they allow the UN and its allies to keep milking them dry?
