DEI: Tyranny in a New Disguise
The True Face of DEI: Control
Once we agree that “inequality” is a crime, we surrender the gate to tyranny. Because there’s only one way to “equalize” people who are naturally different: force. Coercion. Every DEI program relies on one universal rule—bring everyone down to a uniform, state-approved level. This isn’t equality. It’s control.
Antony Flew, a truth-teller among philosophers, called this ideology “procrustean.” Some are stretched, some are cut down to size, all to fit some arbitrary, twisted vision of sameness. Murray Rothbard warned of it. Jordan Peterson has called it out, flipping the acronym DEI to “DIE” to highlight the end game. And he’s right. DEI kills integrity, truth, and merit.
A Corrupt History, Dressed Up in “Diversity”
The roots of DEI reach back to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the infamous Supreme Court decision in Regents of the University of California v. Bakke. What was originally a well-meaning law was twisted into a tool to justify discrimination—against whites, against traditional Americans, against anyone who dared to stand on merit alone. The courts have called this discrimination “diversity” for decades now. But make no mistake, it’s discrimination, plain and simple.
Age of Entitlement author Christopher Caldwell traced the DEI agenda back to Lyndon Johnson’s so-called “footrace” where one runner “arrived shackled.” According to DEI believers, that image justifies any policy, no matter how racially biased, if it fits their narrative of “equity.” And yet, what do we get? Quotas dressed up as “diversity goals,” blatant anti-white racism masquerading as justice. This is the absurdity of our modern legal system.
Forced Diversity: A Legal Mandate?
Thanks to Bakke, “diversity” isn’t just a preference—it’s treated as an obligation by the elites running our institutions. Fail to comply, and you’re labeled “racist,” “non-compliant,” or worse. Critical race theory, anti-white rhetoric, the degradation of our Constitution’s equal protection clause—they’re all wrapped up in DEI’s so-called “diversity.” The Constitution itself, once a shield for freedom, has become a weapon to enforce ideological control.
Now, states like Alabama are fighting back. Recently, Alabama passed Senate Bill 129 to define and restrict “divisive concepts,” which includes DEI indoctrination programs. But institutions are still bending over backward to dodge these laws, wrapping their DEI initiatives in “legal compliance” and “federal mandates.”
The Pushback: States Versus DEI
In Alabama and other states, courageous lawmakers are putting their foot down. They’re targeting DEI’s stranglehold on education, putting the elite on notice. The University of Alabama’s recent guidance on DEI programs is an example. They’re carving out a narrow escape from DEI mandates, holding firm to America’s values.
But don’t be fooled into thinking DEI’s gone. Democrat politicians are launching legal battles to overturn these bans, claiming they violate the Fourteenth Amendment and the Civil Rights Act itself. These lawsuits show us that DEI is big business—a legally backed, taxpayer-funded machine that funnels millions into indoctrination and ideological policing. Florida has learned this lesson the hard way, with Governor Ron DeSantis’s “Stop WOKE Act” challenged and taxpayers potentially on the hook for $750,000 in legal fees.
The Fight for America’s Soul Isn’t Over
DEI supporters aren’t done yet. They’re already exploiting new loopholes in the recent Supreme Court decision in Students for Fair Admissions, which left the door open for universities to consider “how race has impacted an applicant’s life.” This, the DEI crowd believes, gives them a new path to keep pushing their agenda.
Let’s not mince words—DEI is about control, not equality. It’s about making sure no one steps out of line, that we all march to the tune of the elites who profit off division, manipulation, and fear. True freedom does not require government-enforced quotas. True equality doesn’t pit Americans against each other based on race or gender.
It’s time to fight back. Refuse the coercion, reject the lies, and reclaim the Constitution for every American. Stand with the patriots fighting for a merit-based, colorblind society. Don’t let DEI’s divisive grip corrupt the next generation.
