Let’s call this what it is: a replacement strategy.
Illinois lost 156,000 taxpayers in 2022. These weren’t deadbeats—they were high earners, averaging $124,000 in income. Gone. Packed up. Moved to freer, saner states. And who replaced them?
A smaller group of lower earners making $86,000 on average. That’s a $38,000 income gap per head. That’s not just a brain drain—it’s a tax base amputation.
This isn’t a one-year glitch. It’s a trend. Since 2010, that income gap has skyrocketed from $5,500 to nearly $40K. It’s a deliberate push to drive out success and replace it with dependency.
The result? A net loss of $10 billion in taxable income in just one year. That’s the lifeblood of a state budget. And it’s evaporating while the political class throws parties for sanctuary city policies and prints more handouts.
Let’s talk immigration. Legal or illegal—Illinois' door is wide open. And everyone knows it.
Thanks to Biden’s border betrayal, the state isn’t attracting the best and brightest from across the globe. It’s becoming a dumping ground for undocumented dependents, lured in by freebies, driver’s licenses, and voting privileges (just wait for it).
Illinois used to bring in 25,000 foreign nationals a year. Post-2020, that number exploded:
Why the spike? Because Chicago and Springfield rolled out the welcome mat, declaring sanctuary status while hard-working Americans watched their neighborhoods, schools, and services buckle under the weight.
This isn’t immigration. It’s an invasion subsidized by the taxpayer.
Job growth? Fourth-worst in the nation.
Unemployment? Stuck near the bottom.
Economic vitality? Bleeding out faster than the pension fund.
Meanwhile, the ruling class lectures the public about inclusion, climate equity, and “investing in new Americans.”
Investing? Try robbing Peter to pay Pedro. Illinois is being hollowed out—by design.
The same elites who rubber-stamp money printing in D.C. are running this state into the ground. Why? Because controlled collapse means more centralized power. More digital surveillance. More dependency. More FedNow. Less freedom.
This isn’t incompetence. It’s a planned demolition.
Illinois doesn’t need more woke social workers and bureaucratic vampires. It needs a reckoning.
We need lawmakers who put America First, not illegal aliens. Leaders who back the Constitution, not globalist NGOs. And voters who see through the propaganda and media spin that sells this collapse as “progress.”
It’s time to drain Springfield. Burn down the political machine. And rebuild this state from the ground up — by the people, for the people.
