The Venezuela Invasion Exposes the Ugly Truth About U.S. Foreign Policy

The U.S. Constitution Is Dead — and Nobody in Power Cares

Let’s be crystal clear: this was a war.

Bombing another sovereign nation’s capital and kidnapping its head of state is not diplomacy. It’s an act of aggression. But it wasn’t declared by Congress. It wasn’t even debated in the House or the Senate.

Trump told oil executives before he told Congress. Let that sink in.

And where were the so-called “constitutional conservatives”? Suddenly pretending they don’t know what “war” means. Playing word games. Splitting legal hairs while the Pentagon blows up foreign cities.

Article I of the Constitution gives Congress the sole power to declare war. Not the president. Not the State Department. Not ExxonMobil.

But as we’ve seen since 1945 — from Korea to Vietnam to Iraq to Syria to Libya — the ruling class doesn’t give a damn what the Constitution says. They’ll redefine “war” to mean anything they want. Why? Because they want full power, zero accountability, and endless war.

And the so-called MAGA revolution? It’s supposed to be about restoring the rule of law. But now it’s carrying water for the same unconstitutional regime-change playbook Trump once condemned.

International Law Is a Smokescreen — for U.S. and Israeli Exceptionalism

After Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, Washington banged the drum for the “rules-based international order.” They said sovereignty must be respected. That invasions were crimes.

And yet here we are — bombing Venezuela, kidnapping its president, and calling it justice.

The hypocrisy is so thick you could bottle it and sell it as swamp water.

Washington says Russia can’t have a sphere of influence in Eastern Europe — but the U.S. claims all of Latin America under the Monroe Doctrine. Venezuela is “our backyard,” we’re told. And anything we do there is justified.

And if you think this double standard ends with Venezuela, think again. The same globalist class that mocks Russian or Chinese intervention has zero problem when Israel flattens Gaza or annexes territory. Because international law only applies to the enemies of the empire. Not the empire itself.

There is no international law. Only raw power dressed up in moral language.

Democracy Means Nothing — Unless It Serves the U.S. Regime

The talking heads are trying to sell you a fairytale:

“Maduro was a dictator. We’re freeing Venezuela. Democracy is coming.”

Give me a break.

If Washington actually cared about elections, they’d respect the will of the Venezuelan people. But that’s not the game. The only “legitimate” elections are the ones that put U.S.-approved candidates in power.

Look at the facts:

  • Trump has already ruled out María Corina Machado as Venezuela’s next leader — even though her party was supposedly backed by the people.
  • Washington claims Edmundo González won two-thirds of the vote in 2024 — but he’s not being installed either.
  • Instead, the U.S. is now quietly working with Delcy Rodríguez, another socialist from Maduro’s own ruling party.

So the “regime” hasn’t changed — it’s just been rebranded. The flag over the palace might be different, but the ideology is the same. The only difference? This time, the socialist takes her marching orders from Washington.

If you think democracy is alive and well, ask yourself:

Why are all the so-called opposition leaders being discarded?
Why is the U.S. planning to “run” Venezuela indefinitely?
Why is the new puppet a socialist, just like the old one?

Because democracy has nothing to do with it. The U.S. doesn’t care who’s in charge — as long as they kneel.

Whether it’s the king of Saudi Arabia, the dictator of Egypt, or the unelected autocrat in Ukraine — as long as you play ball with the empire, you're in.

What This Really Means: The Mask Is Off

This isn’t about Maduro. It’s not about human rights. It’s not about fighting cartels or spreading democracy.

This is about power. It’s about minerals. It’s about locking down Venezuela’s gold, rare earth elements, and strategic leverage before China or Russia can get to it.

It’s about replacing anti-Washington leaders with globalist-approved caretakers who’ll sign the contracts, hand over the resources, and thank us while they do it.

That’s the play. And it always has been.

Final Word: This Is Empire — Not America First

I support Trump when he puts Americans first. When he fights for our economy, our borders, and our sovereignty. But if he starts playing world policeman for the same neocon cabal he once exposed — we have to say no.

You don’t fix America by launching illegal wars.
You don’t defend freedom by violating the Constitution.
You don’t restore the republic by turning it into an empire.

This isn’t strength. It’s surrender — to the same global elite Trump was elected to destroy.
