Trump Pulls the Plug on Iran Conflict—But Is This the End of U.S. Empire Building?

The Smoke Clears—But Who's Still Breathing?

Donald Trump, in a move that's either a rare stroke of anti-interventionist clarity or a cunning political feint, has declared “mission accomplished” after Iran fired a handful of missiles in response to America’s obliteration of their nuclear infrastructure. According to Trump, this pitiful display from Tehran—most of which was neutralized by missile defense systems—marks the end of hostilities.

Translation: the U.S. is pulling back. For now.

“Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same,” Trump posted, as if reading off the final act of a geopolitical play written months in advance.

No Americans were killed. No significant assets were lost. Tehran even sent an RSVP for their missile launch, giving U.S. and Qatari officials plenty of time to move personnel out of harm’s way. If this isn’t coordinated war theater, I don’t know what is.

Theatrics on the World Stage

ZeroHedge nailed it: the whole thing reeks of back-channel coordination. Iran saved face, Trump saved votes, and the Pentagon got to play with its toys. Mainstream outlets like The New York Times echoed this with eerie synchronization, reporting that Iranian officials gave “advance notice” of their retaliation to minimize casualties.

This isn’t war. This is a carefully managed geopolitical PR campaign.

It’s the same script they used in 2020 when Iran warned the U.S. before launching missiles over the assassination of Qassem Soleimani. Call it what it is—collusion in costume.

So… Is This the End?

Trump’s move has sparked rare optimism among anti-war voices. Even Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, weighed in, calling it a “genius geopolitical move” that could finally push Israel to fight its own battles. And here’s the truth bomb: if the U.S. finally steps aside, Israel may find itself isolated, overextended, and bleeding political capital.

Let’s get something straight—this isn’t about peace. It’s about optics, leverage, and the slowly unraveling illusion of American global dominance.

And maybe, just maybe, we’re witnessing the first real step away from endless foreign entanglements. But only if Trump stays the hell out of it from here on out—and good luck with that.

Final Word from Derek Wolfe

Don’t let your guard down. These geopolitical games are always a few clicks away from real bloodshed—and it's usually ours, not theirs. Keep asking questions. Keep rejecting the script. And if you’re still trusting Uncle Sam to look out for you when the banks fail or the war drums beat again, you’ve already lost.
