And now, in a last-ditch move, Zelensky is calling for a “European Army”—an armed forces of Europe, separate from NATO, to go fight in Ukraine.

They want American troops in the fight. They need American troops in the fight. And they think that if Europe takes the first step, the U.S. will be forced to join.
