The ATF is Now a Tool for Government-Sanctioned Terror The ATF's recent antics involve raiding American gun dealers, like Jim Skelton in 2021, who were targeted after a federal informant lied on background check forms. Two years later, in 2023, Russell Fincher faced similar intimidation despite holding a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). At this point, the ATF’s goal tactics shifted from meaningful enforcement to harassment; from protecting law-abiding citizens to becoming a tool for government-sanctioned terror. A Return to Deadly Force Under the government's unwavering backing and the freedom to act without consequence, the ATF has recently intensified its operational strategies. Bryan Malinowski, an executive director and gun collector, was their latest victim. Despite knowing his work schedule and contact information, the ATF chose to raid his home before dawn, cutting electricity and covering cameras. When Malinowski defended himself against what any reasonable person would see as a home invasion, the ATF responded with lethal force, killing him. Political Theatre and Empty Promises Following Malinowski’s death, Congress put on a show: ● Stacy Plaskett (D-VI) rambled about Donald Trump and mass shootings. ● Jim Jordan (R-OH) criticized the ATF's overzealousness. ● Dan Goldman (D-NY) defended the ATF's deadly force. ● Debbie Schultz (D-FL) lamented non-existent loopholes, ignoring the ATF’s role in actual criminal activity. This show of political theater amounted to no consequence, aside from transforming a real threat into a convenient narrative with a built-in expiration date. The Absurdity of ATF Policies ATF Director Steven Dettelbach faced Jordan's questioning about the lack of body cameras during the Malinowski raid. Dettelbach's excuse? A "phased implementation" policy, despite it being over 20 months old. This hypocrisy highlights how the ATF demands immediate compliance from the public while dragging its feet on accountability measures. In short, the ATF received nothing more than a tongue-lashing in response to committing its murderous acts. The Unlikely Prospect of Justice Malinowski's death will likely go unpunished. His raid was justified by a dubious rule defining "engaging in the business" of selling firearms, a rule set to change soon. This ambiguity allows the ATF to continually harass and intimidate American gun owners with impunity. The ATF is Symptomatic of a More Insidious Threat The ATF’s pattern of abuse, incompetence, and violence proves that they serve no legitimate purpose. The only solution is clear: abolish the ATF and end their reign of terror against the American people. But the ATF's overreach is just one facet of a broader problem. The government's digital dollar agenda is another attempt to "murder" Americans' privacy and freedoms. With a digital dollar, every transaction can be tracked, monitored, and controlled. It's a direct assault on financial independence, aiming to tether citizens to a system where Big Brother watches their every move.
