The point is to get people angry—because nothing changes in Washington unless the public demands it.

• $70,000 for a “DEI musical” in Ireland
• $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia
• $2,000,000 for sex changes and LGBT activism in Guatemala
• $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru
• Hundreds of millions funneled into irrigation canals, farming equipment, and fertilizer that—unbelievably—ended up boosting poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan, directly benefiting the Taliban
• $40,000,000 to fund research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology—the very lab tied to the COVID outbreak

You couldn’t make this up if you tried. It’s Monty Python-level absurdity, except it’s real, and you’re paying for it.

The Art of Weaponized Outrage

Trump understands something most politicians don’t: public pressure moves mountains. By exposing these ridiculous expenditures, he forces Congress to act—or at least makes it politically impossible for them to keep defending the status quo. This strategy was a hallmark of Reagan’s presidency, and now, Trump and Musk are taking it to the next level.

And this is just the beginning. When Musk and his team unleash their AI-driven forensic accounting on the Defense Department and Health and Human Services, expect to see government waste exposed on a scale that dwarfs even these USAID fiascos. Sure, it’s harder for the public to grasp how the Pentagon overpays for missiles or how Big Pharma rakes in billions from ineffective vaccines, but it’s easy to see the insanity of spending $1.5 million to push DEI in Serbian workplaces or $2.5 million on electric vehicle projects in Vietnam.

A Government on the Brink of Collapse

The numbers don’t lie. The U.S. is on an unsustainable financial trajectory:

• $1.8 trillion deficit in 2025 alone
• $36+ trillion in total national debt, growing by the second
• $2.6 billion per day just in interest payments

At some point, reality has to set in. We cannot afford a federal workforce bloated with bureaucrats collecting million-dollar compensation packages. (Yes, the recently resigned head of the Tennessee Valley Authority was raking in $10.5 million per year.)

Democrats weren’t complaining when Bill Clinton cut 377,000 federal jobs. But now that Trump is trying to do the same? Suddenly, it’s a crisis. Remember when Clinton said, “The era of big government is over”? Back when Democrats had at least a shred of fiscal sanity?

Nobody could have predicted this team-up: a former Democrat-turned-populist president, a billionaire tech mogul who once voted blue, and a coalition that includes a Kennedy family member and a former Democratic congresswoman. But here we are.
