How the American People Just Delivered a Blow to the DC Elite!
The media spent months demonizing Donald Trump, and now they’re wailing in horror at his victory. The New York Times ran with “America Hires a Strongman” as their headline. Translation? If you voted for Trump, you’re practically a mob boss hiring muscle. The message was clear: the elites despise your choice. They think they know better than the millions of Americans who dared to say enough is enough.
In a scathing “news analysis,” the Times warned we’re on the “precipice of an authoritarian style of governance never before seen.” They can’t see past their Manhattan bubble to understand Trump’s appeal. History doesn’t go beyond Taylor Swift’s latest album for these folks. They conveniently forgot the Biden-Harris administration’s attack on free speech, which was the most massive and coordinated censorship campaign against Americans in our nation’s history. And the media? They didn’t just sit back—they were cheerleaders for suppression, standing against the very First Amendment they supposedly hold dear.
The Media Betrayed You—Again
Where was the outrage when federal agencies silenced Americans en masse, calling any inconvenient truth “misinformation”? Where was the condemnation when Biden’s team strong-armed tech companies into muzzling millions of Americans? The average Joe who dared question vaccine mandates or Biden’s endless spending spree was silenced, while “journalists” toasted each other over cocktails in DC.
Vice President-elect J.D. Vance tried to sound the alarm about censorship. But did the press cover it? Nope. To the media, suppression is just a tool to keep the ruling class in power. They were too busy gushing over Biden and defending Harris to even pretend to care about the average American’s right to speak out.
And while the elite press endlessly praised Biden’s “booming” economy, the reality was starkly different. They ignored record-high inflation and the devastating cost of living for millions of families. Food and housing costs exploded. The average mortgage payment doubled. But you wouldn’t know it from the headlines. According to them, we were living in an economic paradise. Voters were supposed to swallow this fantasy without question. But they didn’t. They knew better.
Elites vs. Reality: The Fall of Harris’s Identity Politics
Kamala Harris’s campaign thought that shouting “abortion rights” on every street corner would guarantee her victory. But they forgot a simple fact: women buy milk and eggs a lot more often than they need an abortion. For Harris’s campaign and the media, though, anyone who dared to vote against her was either a “sexist” or “racist Harris’.”
Take a panelist on The View who sneered at “uneducated white women” and Latino men for daring to vote against Harris. They just couldn’t grasp that Americans, regardless of race or gender, weren’t falling for the elite’s hollow promises. Harris and her team ran on a platform of identity politics and virtue-signaling, while Americans were suffering under inflation and job losses. The elites showed nothing but contempt for the American people, and the people answered back.
Democratic Party bosses pushed Biden off the stage after his disastrous debate against Trump. Then, they decided to “anoint” Harris as their candidate, expecting voters to fall in line simply because of who she was. The elites wanted a coronation. Instead, they got a revolt.
Harris herself seemed out of touch with reality. She ignored serious interviews, refusing a sit-down with Joe Rogan, where Trump later drew over 37 million views. Instead, she chose to appear on a lighthearted podcast, ducking any real questions on policy or competence. She avoided press conferences and left Americans guessing on her stance on critical issues. Her entire platform boiled down to “joy,” “positive vibes,” and the lazy claim that “Trump is Hitler.” Americans saw through it—and they rejected it.
Trump’s Victory: A Blow to Progressive Authoritarianism, But Not the End of the Fight
Harris’s defeat is a setback for progressive authoritarianism, but make no mistake—Trump’s victory doesn’t mean liberty has triumphed. Trump has his own troubling policies, especially his love for tariffs, which could hurt American consumers and businesses. And let’s not ignore the elephant in the room: our national debt, which Trump hardly addressed in his first term and still looms like a ticking time bomb under the economy.
While Trump’s victory is a temporary reprieve, the Washington establishment will come roaring back. They believe they have the divine right to rule, dismissing us as “deplorables” unfit to govern ourselves. They call it “democracy,” but what they really want is control. And they’re not going to give up easily.
The elites are rattled. They’re terrified that the American people are waking up, seeing through the lies, and voting with a vengeance. PBS pundit Jonathan Capehart complained that Trump’s victory makes him wonder if Americans have “given up on democracy.” No, Mr. Capehart—we’re not giving up on democracy. We’re rejecting your version of it: a top-down system where the elites call the shots, and the rest of us are expected to fall in line.
Stand Up, Speak Out, and Take Control
This election is a reminder that real power lies with the people, not the pundits or the politicians. The elites can wail and whine all they want, but Americans just reminded them who’s really in charge. The fight isn’t over, but this victory shows that we can beat back their control. Let’s not let up now.
