USAID's Global Censorship Machine: How Your Tax Dollars Fund Propaganda Worldwide
A Half-Billion Dollar Censorship Network
While Americans struggle with rising inflation and bank failures, USAID—the U.S. government’s “aid” agency—has been quietly funneling $472.6 million into a shady global media operation called Internews Network (IN).
This isn't just about “supporting journalism.” It's a full-scale propaganda matrix, designed to prop up government-friendly narratives while crushing dissent.
According to bombshell documents published by WikiLeaks, Internews has:
✅ Worked with over 4,200 media outlets to shape global news coverage.
✅ Produced nearly 5,000 hours of broadcasts in one year, reaching 778 million people.
✅ Trained over 9,000 journalists—indoctrinating them into the government’s preferred narratives.
✅ Supported social media censorship efforts, ensuring alternative viewpoints are suppressed.
Who's Behind the Curtain?
Internews is headquartered in the U.S., London, and Paris, with regional HQs in Kiev, Bangkok, and Nairobi.
Its CEO, Jeanne Bourgault, is a Washington insider who pays herself a comfortable $451,000 per year—funded by you, the taxpayer.
Bourgault’s past? She worked at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow during the 1990s, overseeing a $250 million budget for “democracy initiatives” (translation: foreign regime change ops). Before heading Internews, she spent six years at USAID.
And the rest of the board? Pure Deep State:
- Richard J. Kessler – longtime Democrat national security operative.
- Simone Otus Coxe – wife of NVIDIA billionaire Trench Coxe, and a major Democratic donor.
- In 2023, Hillary Clinton helped launch a $10 million Internews fund at the Clinton Global Initiative.
Oh, and one more thing—Internews’ leadership bios and board member details have suddenly been scrubbed from their website. Wonder why? Thankfully, archived records are still available.
A Shell Game of Fake “Independent” Media
Internews isn't just one organization. It operates through at least six front groups, including one based in the Cayman Islands. And while it claims to be an “independent NGO,” over 95% of its funding comes from the U.S. government.
Its funding doubled after Trump's 2016 victory, as the Deep State pumped billions into fighting so-called ‘disinformation’—which conveniently meant censoring conservative and independent media.
Weaponizing the Ad Industry
It gets worse. Last year at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Bourgault called on global advertisers to “only support good news”—a not-so-subtle way of telling corporations to fund establishment media while starving independent outlets.
In other words, if you’re not pushing state-approved propaganda, good luck getting ad revenue.
Your Tax Dollars at Work—Funding Lies
Let’s not sugarcoat it:
- This network has lied to the world about wars.
- They’ve covered up the origins of COVID.
- They’ve pushed vaccine narratives while silencing dissent.
- They’re controlling what billions of people see, hear, and believe.
And YOU are paying for it.
