“America First” Hijacked: As Israel Bombs Iran, War Hawks Try to Drag Us Into Another Bloodbath

EDITOR'S NOTES

Once again, the war machine is revving its engines — and it’s doing it under the stolen banner of “America First.” Israel lit the match with airstrikes on Iran, and now every neocon, defense contractor, and media mouthpiece is trying to pull America back into the sands of the Middle East. The so-called MAGA movement is tearing at the seams, with the real liberty-minded noninterventionists on one side, and the usual pro-war goons masquerading as patriots on the other. Trump wants to play kingmaker with the term he supposedly coined, but the truth is clear: if your version of America First means more bombs, more body bags, and more debt, you’re just selling empire with a red hat on.

The Real “America First” vs. the War Profiteers

The bloodlust kicked off when Israel bombed Iranian targets, and suddenly everyone in D.C. is tripping over themselves to define “America First” — not in terms of peace or sovereignty, but through the lens of foreign entanglements and geopolitical posturing.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, in a rare act of clarity, drew a hard line: “Anyone slobbering for the U.S. to become fully involved in the Israel/Iran war is not America First.” She's dead right. But the hawks, with their defense stock portfolios and loyalty to Tel Aviv, are foaming at the mouth.

They cloak their calls for war in the language of nationalism. Provocateurs like Laura Loomer are screeching that preventing Iran from acquiring nukes — through war, mind you — is the ultimate form of patriotism. But let’s not forget: Iran chanting “Death to America” is no justification for surrendering our treasure, troops, and freedoms in yet another unwinnable quagmire.

Trump’s Convenient Memory and the “Branding” of a Movement

In typical Trumpian fashion, the former president made the conflict about himself. “I’m the one that developed ‘America First,’” he claimed — as if Charles Lindbergh and the entire anti-war tradition of the 20th century never existed.

Trump’s posturing is as opportunistic as ever: denouncing nuclear Iran one moment, mocking Tucker Carlson the next, then vaguely praising negotiations — all while refusing to rule out U.S. military involvement. It's a dance to please both his warmongering donors and the anti-interventionist base that actually elected him.

The MAGA civil war is out in the open now. Greene defended Carlson’s critique of Trump’s pro-war drift, saying, “Foreign wars/intervention/regime change put America last… will ultimately lead to our destruction.” She’s not wrong. But instead of addressing that, the establishment is circling the wagons and branding dissenters as “fake MAGA.”

The Neocon Hydra Slithers Back

Mark Levin — a relic of the Bush-Cheney era dressed in Trumpian garb — launched a tirade about “Real MAGA” being pro-Israel and anti-isolationist. Translation: “Real MAGA” means endless war, foreign aid, and dead Americans, just as long as it benefits our “allies.”

Even Israeli PM Netanyahu chimed in, delivering the Orwellian line: “I don’t understand ‘America Dead.’” Classic war rhetoric — if you don’t support their bombs, you’re inviting our doom.

But ask yourself: who really benefits when America sends its youth to die overseas while our own borders remain porous and our economy crumbles? Follow the money. Always.

The Illusion of Diplomacy, the Reality of War

Secretary of State Marco Rubio (how’s that for a dystopian sentence?) tried to distance the U.S. from the initial Israeli strikes. But buried beneath the noise: U.S. assets helped intercept Iran’s counterattacks, and reports suggest we were quietly preparing for this all along. So much for neutrality.

Iran, seeing the writing on the wall, is signaling a willingness to negotiate. Senator Rand Paul hailed it as a win for nonintervention. But Trump — never one to close the war door completely — is hedging his bets. “They should talk… before it’s too late,” he said. That’s as close to a peace offering as we’ll get from a guy who built his brand on bombast.

Meanwhile, warmonger-in-chief Lindsey Graham called on Trump to “give them bombs. Fly with them if necessary.” If you’re still confused about which side of this battle you're on, remember: Graham has never seen a war he didn’t love.

Final Thoughts: The Last Stand for Liberty

What we’re witnessing is the systematic hijacking of the America First movement. It’s being gutted, repackaged, and sold back to us by the same ghouls who gave us Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. But you don’t need to fall for it.

Wake up. This isn’t about Iran. It’s about the military-industrial complex keeping the blood flowing and the checks clearing. It’s about globalist strings pulling nationalist puppets. And it’s about making sure the American people are too distracted, too scared, and too broke to fight back.
