CALIFORNIA PANICS: Newsom Begs Big Oil to Stay After Decades of Demonizing American Energy
Gavin Newsom’s House of Cards Is Crumbling—And He Built It Himself
Let me get this straight.
California spent 25 years declaring war on American energy. They banned drilling. They shut down refineries. They taxed fuel into oblivion. They called oil executives villains, polluters, even criminals.
And now? Now they want to play nice?
Now Gavin Newsom is signing legislation to fast-track 2,000 new oil wells a year in Kern County—because suddenly he cares about gas prices?
Give me a break.
This isn’t leadership. This is damage control. This is what happens when you govern with ideology instead of reality. When you listen to climate cultists and communist academics instead of working-class Americans trying to get to work without spending $100 to fill their tank.
Gavin Newsom created this crisis. And now he wants credit for trying to “solve” it with the very thing he tried to destroy: oil.
The Left Hates Oil… Until They Need It
Let’s be real. The radical left doesn’t care about the environment. They care about control.
Control over what you drive. Where you go. What you buy. What kind of stove you use in your kitchen.
They shut down power plants and then cry about blackouts. They demonize refineries and then whine when gas hits $7 a gallon. They chase energy companies out of the state and then beg foreign dictators for oil like some junkie looking for a fix.
This is the price of ideology. This is what happens when people who have never run a business, never held a wrench, never worked a real job in their life take over your state.
Newsom and his band of latte liberals waged a culture war against fossil fuels—and now that they’ve lost the war, they’re trying to rewrite the history books.
But we remember.
We remember the rolling blackouts.
We remember the $6 gas.
We remember the “green new deal” fanatics chaining themselves to pipelines.
We remember Gavin Newsom flying private jets to climate conferences while lecturing us about carbon footprints.
You don’t get to burn the house down and then show up with a bucket of water asking for applause.
California Is a Warning, Not a Model
Chevron isn’t sticking around for this madness. They’re heading to Texas—where the lights stay on and the government still believes in the free market.
And they’re not alone. Thousands of businesses have fled California. Millions of residents have packed up and left. Why? Because the state has become unlivable for anyone who doesn’t enjoy paying sky-high taxes to live in a crime-ridden, energy-starved, overpriced playground for the rich and clueless.
In 1983, California had 40 oil refineries. Now they’re down to 13, with more closures coming.
That’s not progress. That’s collapse.
And now, because they’ve run off their own industry, California is forced to import three-quarters of its oil from foreign countries. That’s not green energy—that’s economic treason.
But you won’t hear that from the corporate media. They’re too busy fawning over Newsom’s hair gel and auditioning him for the 2028 presidential race.
Here’s the Bottom Line:
California is what happens when elites play pretend and working people pay the price.
- Gas is nearly $5 a gallon in California while it’s $3.17 in the rest of the country.
- Businesses are leaving. Families are fleeing.
- And Gavin Newsom is trying to plug a leaking dam with a press release.
He built this disaster. Let him drown in it.
Meanwhile, the rest of America better wake up. Because what starts in California doesn’t stay in California. These same anti-energy, anti-freedom policies are spreading like a virus—from New York to Illinois to D.C.
And if we don’t push back now, the whole country will look like San Francisco: boarded-up, blacked-out, and broken.
TAKE ACTION BEFORE THEY BLEED YOU DRY
Don’t wait for the lights to go out or the gas pumps to dry up.
Protect yourself now with Bill Brocius’s “Seven Steps to Protect Yourself from Bank Failure”. Yes, the energy collapse is just one part of the bigger game—the elites are choking off your financial independence and energy security all at once.

California is collapsing. Don’t let them take the rest of the country down with it.
