THE WILDFIRE LAND GRAB: California’s Elite Just Burned You Off Your Property
This Fire Didn’t Have to Happen
The Palisades Fire in Los Angeles destroyed nearly 17,000 homes, making it one of the most destructive fire events in the region’s history and displacing thousands of families who fled with nothing but the clothes on their backs. According to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) and subsequent analyses, tens of thousands of structures were destroyed or damaged across the Palisades and Eaton fires combined, and federal disaster aid requests topped $33.9 billion amid the staggering toll of lost homes and livelihoods. People died. Families fled. But the kicker? The whole thing could’ve been stopped cold—if the government hadn’t tied the hands of firefighters with eco‑radical nonsense. This tragic outcome is a stark example of California wildfire government failure, where bureaucratic hurdles and misguided priorities contributed to catastrophic loss.
Turns out, the blaze wasn’t even a new fire. It was a rekindled ember from an earlier arson fire that state authorities refused to extinguish. Why?
Because some bureaucrat was worried about disturbing “endangered plants.”
That’s not a joke. That’s the official policy.
No heavy equipment, mop-up operations or retardant drops. Nothing happens unless an archaeologist or a “resource advisor” signs off.
So instead of putting the fire out, the state let it smolder—until the Santa Ana Winds turned it into a hellstorm.
They call that environmental protection.
I call it state-sponsored arson.
The Monopoly That Lit the Match
While the Palisades burned from inaction, the Eaton Fire took off thanks to another reliable failure: Pacific Gas & Electric, California’s state-protected utility monopoly.
The wind was howling. The grid was overloaded. PG&E knew what was coming.
But they didn’t cut the power.
They didn’t protect the public.
Because when you’re shielded by politicians and lined up with green subsidies, you don’t answer to the people.
You answer to the state.
And the state doesn’t give a damn if you burn.
While LA Burned, the Mayor Was on a Photo Op in Ghana
At the peak of the crisis, while families were watching their homes explode into ash, Mayor Karen Bass was in Africa, attending an inauguration in Ghana. It’s hard to find a clearer picture of just how little the ruling class cares.
While fire hydrants ran dry and equipment failed on the ground, LA’s top official was smiling for cameras on the other side of the world. That’s not negligence. That’s contempt.
They Burn It Down—Then Block You from Rebuilding
Here’s the final insult. After the fire, Governor Gavin Newsom said he’d cut through the red tape so folks could rebuild their homes.
He lied.
Residents like Denise and Adonis Jones applied for permits to rebuild. Seven months later? Still waiting. Trapped in limbo. Staring at the empty shell of what used to be their life.
Only a tiny fraction of destroyed homes in the Palisades and Altadena have received permits to rebuild. The process is rigged. The government holds your future hostage behind a wall of agencies that don’t want you to return.
Because here’s the truth:
This isn’t about recovery. It’s about removal.
They don’t want regular Americans living near the hills anymore. The land’s too valuable. Too scenic. Too politically useful for “green zones” and elite playgrounds. So they let the fires come. Then they stop you from coming back.
And Then—They Blame the Oil Companies
To distract from the mess, California’s top brass did what they always do: they blamed Big Oil. They filed lawsuits. Pointed fingers. Spouted decades-old memos from Exxon predicting warming trends.
It’s a convenient trick.
Blame the climate, fossil fuels, and blame you for daring to drive a pickup or heat your home.
Meanwhile, they let power lines spark. They block fire crews. They chase out homeowners.
And they walk away untouched.
This Is the New Normal—Unless You Fight Back
This isn’t just a California problem. It’s a national blueprint.
Let disaster strike. Smother the rebuilding process in red tape. Blame the weather. Push people off the land. Take control.
It’s happening now—and it’s spreading.
