Donald Trump has wasted no time in delivering on one of his most crucial campaign promises: gutting the bureaucratic rot that has hijacked the Department of Justice. According to NBC News, a slew of high-ranking officials from the DOJ’s Executive Office of Immigration Review—yes, the very people who oversee the country’s immigration courts—were fired late Monday night.

Those sent packing include:

• Sheila McNulty, Chief Immigration Judge
• Mary Cheng, Acting Director of the Executive Office of Immigration Review
• Jill Anderson, General Counsel
• Lauren Alder Reid, Head of Policy

And guess what? They never saw it coming.

Lauren Alder Reid whined to NBC News, saying she was “shocked and severely disappointed” that no one gave her a heads-up. Imagine that—federal bureaucrats, who spent years ignoring the will of the American people, suddenly realizing they’re expendable.

The swamp rats were quick to play the victim card. “My career Senior Executive Service colleagues and I are shocked and severely disappointed in the decision to remove us from our positions without notice or cause,” Reid lamented. “We have dedicated our careers to upholding the rule of law, regardless of the administration.”

Oh really? Because I seem to recall a certain DOJ that bent over backward to stall Trump’s immigration policies while facilitating the Biden regime’s open-border free-for-all. Spare us the crocodile tears.

But this wasn’t just a housecleaning—it was a full-scale restructuring. According to the Associated Press, multiple other DOJ officials were reassigned, including:

• Bruce Swartz, former head of the DOJ’s Office of International Affairs
• George Toscas, a longtime Deep State operative in the National Security Division who played key roles in both the Clinton email cover-up and the Trump classified documents witch hunt

In total, nearly two dozen officials have been moved to different roles. That’s two dozen bureaucratic cogs in the Deep State machine, neutralized.

Trump’s War Against the Deep State Kicks Into High Gear

This move is just the first salvo in Trump’s war against the Deep State. Throughout his campaign, he vowed to “demolish the Deep State” and purge the warmongers, globalists, and unaccountable elitists who infest Washington.

“We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country,” Trump declared in Windham, New Hampshire back in 2023.

And he meant every word.

But the resistance is already forming. The corrupt establishment is scrambling to slow-walk Trump’s administration at every turn. Case in point: the Senate Judiciary Committee just postponed the confirmation hearing for Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi. Some unnamed Democrat lawmaker—who doesn’t even have the spine to go public—is behind the delay.

Bondi, Florida’s first female Attorney General, has made it clear she won’t tolerate the DOJ’s two-tiered justice system. Her commitment? A return to actual justice.

“My overriding objective will be to return the Department of Justice to its core mission of keeping Americans safe and vigorously prosecuting criminals. That includes getting back to basics: gangs, drugs, terrorists, cartels, our border, and our foreign adversaries,” Bondi testified.

Translation? No more weaponizing the DOJ against political enemies while letting criminals run free. No more kid-glove treatment for Deep State operatives while Trump allies get the book thrown at them. If Bondi makes it through the confirmation gauntlet, the DOJ is about to become a very uncomfortable place for a lot of people who thought they were untouchable.

The Fight for America’s Future Has Begun

Make no mistake—this is war. The Deep State isn’t going down without a fight. The media will paint Trump as a dictator, the intelligence community will manufacture more “scandals,” and the Democrats will try every procedural trick in the book to block his administration. But Trump isn’t backing down.

The time for half-measures is over. If America is going to survive, the bureaucratic swamp must be drained completely. Trump has taken the first step, but he can’t do it alone.

This is a fight for the very soul of the nation. And if the establishment is scared, good. They should be.
