9,500 Foreign Truckers Yanked Off U.S. Highways — The Quiet War to Take Back America’s Roads
The English Language Is Back in the Driver’s Seat
Under President Trump’s leadership, the Department of Transportation has pulled 9,500 truck drivers off the road since May 2025. Why? Because they couldn’t speak or read English.
This wasn’t some xenophobic stunt. It was a public safety necessity. These are 80,000-pound rigs we’re talking about—not bicycles. The people driving them must be able to read road signs, respond to police, and follow emergency instructions. If they can’t? They don’t belong behind the wheel. Period.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy put it plainly: “America First means safety first.” And for once, the government is actually doing something that puts your family’s safety ahead of political correctness.
Trump Declares English the Official Language
This crackdown didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s part of a March executive order signed by President Trump that officially made English the national language of the United States.
Let that sink in.
It took until 2025 for an American president to declare that the country founded in English, governed in English, and defended in English should be run in English.
And ultra-liberals cried foul. Why? Because enforcing a common language threatens their real goal: fragmentation. They don’t want unity. They want chaos. Because chaos gives them power.
Obama’s Toothless Rule Gets Tossed
Under Barack Obama, federal inspectors could issue citations to truckers who couldn’t speak English—but they weren’t allowed to remove them from service. That’s like telling a drunk driver, “I’ll give you a warning, just don’t do it again.”
Trump threw that garbage rule in the trash. Now, if a trucker can’t understand English, they’re done. Taken off the road. The way it should’ve been from the start.
Americans Died While Ultra-Liberals Handed Out Licenses
Let’s talk about the cost of inaction.
A man named Harjinder Singh, in the U.S. illegally, got behind the wheel of a semi-truck and killed three people in Florida after making an illegal U-turn. He failed his English exam—only got 2 out of 12 questions right. Couldn’t identify road signs. Still got a commercial driver’s license in Washington. Then got a second CDL in California.
How? Because ultra-liberal state bureaucrats decided their political agenda mattered more than human lives.
Singh isn’t an outlier. Federal audits have revealed that states like California, New York, and Pennsylvania handed out CDLs to thousands of foreign nationals, many of whom were here illegally and couldn’t read English. In California alone, over 25% of nondomiciled CDLs were issued improperly.
This isn’t a mistake. This is a deliberate abandonment of public safety.
Duffy Goes Nuclear on Rogue States
After uncovering this corruption, Sean Duffy dropped the hammer. He told states like California, Washington, and New Mexico they could kiss tens of millions in highway funding goodbye unless they revoked the illegally issued licenses and enforced the English-language rules.
California risks losing $40 million. And they’re crying about it—claiming they already test for English. If that’s true, how did people who failed the tests keep getting licenses?
Answer: Because these states have been shielding foreign nationals and illegal immigrants for years. Not for compassion. For control.
Homeland Security Finally Cracks Down on Illegal Truckers
In a rare moment of real enforcement, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the arrest of 146 illegal immigrant truck drivers near the Illinois border. Over 40 of them held valid CDLs issued by sanctuary states like California and Illinois.
Let’s not sugarcoat it: this was a ticking time bomb. You had people in the country illegally, behind the wheels of big rigs, licensed by states that look the other way.
Noem didn’t mince words: “Far too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal aliens driving semi-trucks and big rigs.”
And she’s right.
The War for the Roads Is the War for the Country
This isn't just about truckers.
This is about whether America is still a nation of laws—or a playground for globalists and bureaucrats who see citizenship as a formality and borders as a nuisance.
Our roads aren’t just highways. They’re lifelines—for families, for commerce, for national security. And for too long, ultra-liberal politicians have been treating them like freeways for foreign labor, handing out licenses to anyone who applies, legal or not.
Trump’s actions prove one thing: we’re done playing defense. The American people are fighting back—one trucker, one highway, one battle at a time.
You’re Not Crazy. You’re Just Paying Attention.
They want you to think this is just a minor policy change.
They want you to believe this has nothing to do with safety, or sovereignty, or the rule of law.
But you know better.
This is the tip of the iceberg—and if we don’t stop it here, it’s only going to get worse. Because if they can rig the licensing system to allow non-English-speaking, illegal foreign nationals to operate deadly vehicles on our roads, then what can’t they rig?
