Media meltdown over Harris endorsement

Establishment Media Meltdown: Ignorant, Irrelevant, and Desperate!

EDITOR'S NOTES

The establishment media is drowning in its own irrelevance—and last week, it panicked. After the owners of the Los Angeles Times and Washington Post refused to endorse Kamala Harris, a frenzy ensued. Journalists, editors, columnists—they all threw a fit. Why? Because the corporate media elites can’t face the truth: Americans don’t rely on their biased rants for truth anymore. Mainstream media’s monopoly over information is broken. It’s time they realized—no one’s listening.

The Whole Saga—Meltdown of the Year

Last week, the owners of the LA Times and Washington Post dared to block their editorial boards from endorsing Kamala Harris. That’s all it took to send these outlets into a tailspin. The Times editorial editor quit on the spot, two more board members trailed after, and even two Washington Post columnists resigned in protest. It was a mass exodus of elites angry they couldn’t hold the American people’s hands to guide them to Harris.

The so-called champions of democracy like Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein cried foul, calling the decision a blow to “democracy.” Former Washington Post executive editor Martin Baron even labeled it “cowardice.” And, in true establishment fashion, the Washington Post’s union came out with yet another statement condemning the owners. The media class wanted to coronate Harris, but their crowns were yanked out of their hands. And boy, did they throw a fit.

What’s got them so worked up? They believe this non-endorsement will somehow “self-censor” the message they think will stop Trump. According to them, not endorsing Harris amounts to giving Trump a free pass.

Blind to Reality: Media Endorsements Mean Nothing Now

Here’s what the LA Times and Washington Post can’t seem to understand: nobody cares. Their endorsements mean about as much to the American people as last year’s tabloids. Think about it. Their readership already leans left, deeply left, and anyone who glances at their editorials can tell who they’re backing without a formal stamp of approval. The elites are more concerned with controlling the narrative than they are with reporting anything useful or even factual. They’d rather tell you what to believe than let you decide.

They keep Trump front and center in their “news” stories, painting him as some reckless tyrant ready to burn America to the ground. Harris, meanwhile, is the media darling—portrayed as a “serious” and “principled” leader who can fix America. If that’s the media’s idea of neutrality, we’re done here.

The Media Monopoly—Once Mighty, Now Crumbling

There was a time, a century or so ago, when newspapers held near-total power over what Americans knew. Editors and executives decided what was “real” and shaped America’s view of itself. But those days are long gone. When TV, radio, and eventually the internet came along, they broke the stranglehold that these elites had over the truth.

The arrival of blogs in the ‘90s handed regular folks the microphone. No editors, no filters, no space limits. Americans could finally get the real stories, and the elites couldn’t stand it. Now, over thirty years later, the media monopoly is in shambles, and their outdated ways are irrelevant. Real Americans can turn to countless sources to hear from voices like their own.

New Media: Unstoppable, Unfiltered, Uncompromising

Look around. Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have taken to new media—one out of necessity, the other by choice. Trump is making waves on every platform he can get on, knowing that the truth doesn’t reach people through the tired, elite-run Washington Post or LA Times. He’s on shows like The Joe Rogan Experience, with a reach that blows every newspaper, network, and pundit out of the water. Trump’s three-hour Rogan interview hit nearly 40 million views on YouTube alone. Compare that to Harris’s interview on Fox News, barely hitting eight million. Who’s winning the media game now?

Media meltdown over Harris endorsement

It’s laughable that anyone thinks endorsements from dying newspapers are still relevant in this media landscape. But for the media elites, it’s a scary reminder that they’re no longer the gatekeepers. People now have the power to find the truth themselves, and mainstream media is terrified.

The Legacy Media: Losing Control of the American Narrative

The true threat from the establishment media lies in how it distorts our view of reality. These elites are loyal not to you or me but to the political class that funds them. They think they’re the watchdogs of democracy. In reality, they’re the lapdogs of power. Their outrage over withheld endorsements is nothing more than the death throes of an industry that has failed the American people.

The truth is, Americans are moving on. We don’t need the media giants to tell us who to vote for. We don’t need them to spoon-feed us lies about freedom and democracy while taking handouts from their corporate overlords. The media can either adapt or get out of the way. But they can’t have it both ways.

The Battle Ahead

For those of us who value truth, liberty, and freedom from control, this media circus is just another reminder: the establishment is running scared. Americans are wide awake, and we’re rejecting the elites' narrative. The internet has shattered their empire, and they’re left clinging to the past, frantically trying to steer a public that’s already left them behind.
