EXPOSED: The New York Times Is LYING About Energy And Climate—And They Know It
🚨 The NYT’s Climate Crusade: Lies, Cover-Ups, and Chinese Propaganda
Let’s be blunt: The New York Times is no longer in the business of journalism. It’s in the business of narrative manipulation. Its target? American energy independence. Its goal? The same goal every elite has—more control, fewer questions, and a docile, dependent population.
1. Twisting UN Remarks to Smear the U.S.
In a July 22 article, NYT "reporter" Max Bearak twisted the words of UN Secretary-General António Guterres to claim the U.S. was failing on green energy—while praising China. Problem? The quotes were doctored. The transcript doesn’t back up Bearak’s claims. It’s pure propaganda.
And here’s the kicker: Bearak paints China as a climate hero. But according to the 2025 Statistical Review of World Energy, China is still running full steam on coal. In 2024, coal made up 58.1% of China’s energy use—hardly a poster child for clean energy. But the Times doesn’t let facts get in the way of their agenda.
Oh, and while they accuse the U.S. of being a fossil fuel monster, China is the #1 producer of fossil fuels on Earth—far outpacing the U.S. in coal, oil, and gas. Did the NYT correct their misinformation when this was pointed out? Of course not. Crickets.
2. Rewriting the History of Electric Vehicles
Next up, Ivan Penn’s May 26 article claims EVs were “killed by politics” a century ago. It’s the old story: evil oil interests crushed the electric car. Sounds juicy. Except it’s completely false.
The facts are clear: by 1925, over 98% of cars were already gas-powered. EVs didn’t die because of some evil oil subsidy—they died because they couldn’t compete. Gasoline was cheaper, roads were longer, and the ICE engine was simply better. That’s what real competition looks like.
Even Obama’s own Department of Energy says so in its history of EVs. But Penn, like his NYT colleagues, rewrites history to fit the climate gospel. And again, no correction. No accountability. Just elite narrative-shaping dressed up as journalism.
3. Lying About America’s Green Progress
Then there’s David Wallace-Wells’ April 23 column claiming that in 2024, U.S. electricity from renewables exceeded fossil fuels. That would be big—if it were true. But it’s not.
In reality, fossil fuels provided 60% of America’s electricity in 2024. Renewables? Just 20%. That’s not close. That’s not an honest mistake. That’s a flat-out lie.
Caught in the act, the NYT issued a correction... that was also wrong. Then another one, sneakily redefining “renewables” to include nuclear—a source they hadn’t even mentioned before. That’s like losing a game, then changing the scoreboard to claim you won.
This isn’t correction. It’s deception. And it tells you everything you need to know about how the Times operates. If the truth doesn’t fit their narrative, they’ll twist it until it does.
🧨 What’s Really Going On?
Let’s connect the dots.
- The NYT lies about China’s coal use to prop up Beijing’s climate narrative.
- They rewrite U.S. energy history to demonize fossil fuels.
- They twist the numbers to sell “clean energy” funded by billionaires and subsidized by your tax dollars.
It’s not about saving the planet. It’s about control.
These lies are designed to justify more regulation, more surveillance, and more digital control over your life—whether it’s smart thermostats, carbon credits, or eventually, a central bank digital currency (CBDC) that tracks and controls every dollar you spend.
This is a war on energy. And energy is freedom. The ability to drive where you want, heat your home, and power your business—all of that depends on cheap, reliable fuel. And that’s what they want to take away.
⚠️ The NYT Won’t Tell the Truth. So We Will.
The Times is protecting global interests. It’s attacking American energy. And when it gets caught, it lies again to cover its tracks.
This is why Americans don’t trust the media. It’s not bias—it’s betrayal.
So what can you do?
