Economic Disaster at the Food Banks: PA, MI, WI Slammed as Biden’s Crisis Crushes Americans
Written by Sam Clemons
Let’s be clear: the economy is burning to the ground, and it’s American families left stranded in the ashes. This collapse? It’s real, it’s right in front of us, and it’s about to tip the election. Poll after poll shows the truth—the American people are panicked about where we’re headed. And who can blame them? Prices soar. Jobs vanish. The American Dream slips away with every dollar devalued by runaway inflation and reckless policies. The latest from Gallup makes it plain: 52% of Americans rank the economy as their single biggest concern. And get this—another 38% list it as “very important.” That’s 9 out of 10 Americans who know we’re in deep trouble.
The Biden administration, now scrambling to prop up Kamala Harris, can feel the heat. Voters see Harris as utterly unfit to handle the economy, with Donald Trump earning 54% support on economic issues over her 45%. Harris’s lead on issues like climate change and abortion won’t matter when people can’t afford groceries. Voters are fed up with rising costs, shrinking wages, and bureaucrats pretending everything’s fine while entire communities are crushed.
Food Banks Flooded in Swing States
Let’s take a hard look at the swing states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin. In Pennsylvania, food bank demand has hit crisis levels, with organizers reporting a desperation they haven’t seen since the pandemic’s peak. Central Pennsylvania Food Bank’s Joe Arthur calls it a “hunger crisis.” And why? Because working Americans can no longer afford to feed their families. There are fewer resources to help, and more families showing up, month after month, to get enough food to survive.
In Michigan, the story is just as bleak. Ken Estelle from Feeding America West Michigan says demand is now “significantly higher than during Covid.” Think about that. We were promised recovery, told that brighter days were ahead. Yet here we are—food bank demand is skyrocketing beyond pandemic levels, rising 18% in the last year alone. Estelle admits they’re “pressed beyond capacity,” with hundreds of households relying on food trucks that can barely meet the need.
And in Wisconsin? Demand at food banks has doubled in a year. Rochelle Gamauf, running a food pantry in Waukesha County, says they distributed over a million pounds of food this year, more than double the 2022 total. Families are struggling, and every week, she sees new faces—people who once had stable lives now forced into charity lines just to get by.
This isn’t just a crisis—it’s a failure of leadership, a collapse of our economic foundation, and an indictment of every elitist policy that pushed us to this point. We’ve got Americans with jobs turning to food banks to survive. Why? Because inflation is a hidden tax that’s devouring their livelihoods. Groceries cost a small fortune. Twenty-five years ago, you could fill a cart for less than 50 bucks. Today? Hundreds of dollars. People can’t keep up.
The Lie of “Recovery”
The Biden administration has the audacity to tell us everything’s fine. They spin data like a top, releasing “strong” numbers only to revise them down later. Last month, they pushed a headline that job openings were soaring—over 8 million. Now we learn that those numbers have plunged to 7.4 million, the lowest since early 2021. But they waited until after Kamala Harris’s prospects were dead in the water to release this real number. It’s manipulation, pure and simple, and the American people are sick of it.
It’s a game. They feed us fake numbers, then gaslight us when we point out the truth. But here’s what they can’t hide: our standard of living has been gutted, and the American middle class is barely hanging on by a thread. Working Americans see right through it, and they’re angry. They want the America they remember—the one that took pride in prosperity, that honored hard work, that cared about Main Street, not Wall Street.
The Tide of Voter Anger
This election is about survival. Washington insiders and economic “experts” are already bracing themselves for the shockwave. They’ll say they never saw it coming, that they were “shocked” by the results. But they aren’t living in the America we know. They aren’t going to food banks. They aren’t struggling to buy groceries. They’re completely out of touch with real life.
So, if you’re fed up with the lies, the manipulation, the skyrocketing costs, and a system that only seems to work for the elites, then now’s the time to act. Show up, vote, and make your voice heard. They’ve taken enough from us already.
